Rotorcraft Aeromechanics Intern

Iz spent summer break of 2024 interning as an engineer in the aeromechanics branch at NASA Ames. They developed testing methods for physical attributes of small scale rotorcraft blades.

Rover

​An autonomous electric go-kart made using AWS DeepRacer, SageMaker, and RoboMaker. Presented at the 2019 Bay Area Maker Faire and re:Invent 2019.

Boise State University's submissions for the 2023 and 2024 NASA Micro-g NExT Challenges; 2023 being an automatic zip-tie deploying device for use during space walks outside the International Space Station. 2024 being a new flagpole for the moon and other future NASA EVA locations.

Bender

The 2023 iteration of "Bender", an autonomous vehicle trained to avoid obstacles in an unfamiliar environment. Boise State University's design for the annual Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition.

Puck-a-tron

A fly-wheel device that launches 1/3rd scale hockey pucks. Variable angles and velocities are controlled using a remote control communicating with an Arduino Romeo. Speeds range from 10-60 mph.
